Our Domiciliary Care Co-ordinators and Field Supervisors
Marie and Tracie, Domiciliary Care Co-ordinators
Tracie and Marie organise the support schedules each week, matching staff skills and experience to client's needs.
Marie joined Ellfin two and a half years ago, having previously worked as a night supervisor in a residential care home. Marie has also worked as a carer in the community for over four years and so understands the needs of service users and staff teams very well. Marie is qualified to NVQ Advanced Level 3 in Health & Social Care and is also a trained Facilitator. Marie is often the first point of contact for service users and her skills and experience ensure that she gives a friendly and professional service.
Tracie joined Ellfin in 2011 and has over 12 years' experience in the sector, including having previously been a Registered Manager. She holds the NVQ Level 4 Registered Managers Award and Level 3 Palliative Care Award as well as being a qualified risk assessor. She believes strongly in ensuring clients are able to make choices regarding the care and support they receive and being treated with dignity respect at all times.
Lynsay, Kim and Maureen, Emergency Care Co-ordinators/Service administrators
As Emergency Care Co-ordinators, Maureen, Kim and Lynsay identify staff to work with new clients as well as for existing clients needing extra emergency support at short notice. Their organisational skills are second to none and they oversee all administrative functions for our services, as well as managing recruitment, call monitoring, booking training courses and allocating staff holidays. Their warm and friendly approach puts service users at ease.
Maureen has been with the group since 2002 and knows all our clients' needs.
Lynsay joined Ellfin two and a half years ago, after relocating from Perth in Scotland. She has five years’ experience of working in the Health and Social Care sector and is currently studying for an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration.
Kim joined us as an apprentice straight from school in 2001 and is now a firm fixture in the office. She holds NVQ Level 3 Customer Care award.
Julie, Natasha, Emma & Louise, Field Supervisors
As Field Supervisors, Julie, Natasha, Emma and Louise support our staff and service users on a daily basis through visits, spot checks and supervision arrangements. They make sure our services are up to scratch and our clients are happy.
All our field supervisors hold at least NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, as well as other specialist training depending on their particular role, and have all previously worked as carers or support workers within our services. This means they know our service users personally and understand their wishes and requirements. They also appreciate the demands of being a carer and are dedicated to ensuring staff get all the support they need to provide the best service possible.
