Support for people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions
Autism and Asperger Syndrome are lifelong developmental conditions that affect how a person communicates and relates to other people and the world around them.
At Ellfin, we recognise that autism is a spectrum condition. We know that whilst many people with an ASD diagnosis share certain characteristics, they are all individuals with widely varying needs. We provide support to people of all ages, from children through to senior care, with packages available from half an hour a week to 24 hours a day, including respite or intermittent support. Transitions are often particularly challenging and we can provide tailored, time specific support around these key life stages.
We adopt a person-centred approach to lifelong support, integrating development completely into all aspects of our flexible and individually tailored person-centred programmes.
We offer individually planned, consistent support designed to enable people to realise their potential in all areas of living, including accessing the community, employment, education and relationships.
Our trained staff team work in a person centred way and are equipped to support individuals through dedicated communication strategies, behaviour intervention plans and sensory integration difficulties. We support positive risk management strategies and techniques and work with clients to help them realise their full potential.
